I agree whole heatedly, I would support an activist investor starting a hostile takeover to wrench the company out of Eddie Lampert's hands. With solid, committed leadership, I think Sears can survive, but Eddie hos so many conflicts of interest between Sears and Seritage holdings (his company)...

Last night I found them on-line for $29.99 with free store pick up , and could not resist ordering the professional set at that price. I suspect they are trying to clearance them out. I just checked and they are now back to $51.99.

I know this is an older thread, but brickG-man, any update on how the Masterforce box is holding up? I'm strongly considering that same box (and color). I like the ability to add a side cabinet and locker, but I can't find any reviews on the box.

I finally found the old made in usa craftsman professional pliers on sale for a reasonable price. Harry Epstein has several models for $15 a pair. Compared to what they are selling for on eBay this is quite the deal. http://www.harryepstein.com/index.php/tool-brand/craftsman.html

I found one on clearance for $53.97, and had a $10 off purchase of $50 or more to bring it to $43.97+tax. It was the last one and the clerk seemed confused how cheap it was compared to their other vises, but no problems with the sale.
