Managed to nab these boy today for a very reasonable $40. I can't wait to get them cleaned and oiled! Has anyone had experience getting the locks replaced or remade?

Probably the best deal I've gotten on a plane so far. Traded a record 10 1/2 inch bench vise that I acquired for $15. So I'm counting this as purchased for $15 :P I think it's a type 3 or 4 number 2. I'm a little unfamiliar with dating this one, as they were different than the 3-8. Everything...

Craftsman made a ton of table saws. Need to see some pictures or a model number.

It was heavy enough to set off the seatbelt sensor the whole way home :thumbup:

Just picked this one up at a storage locker for $30. More of an upgrade than I expected from my newer craftsman model. Twice the power and easily half the vibration. Also picked up two Disston back saws that I happen to see casually laying off to the side. Was a great day.

I already had this same exact drill press, but this one had the slow speed, and the bidding only went to $10!

Considering it's age, this is probably the best condition I've picked up an OWWM so far. This runs silently, and the badges are even in fair condition. Bittersweet, as this rounds out the vintage power tools I'll be buying for the near future.

It's not anything super fancy, but I got it for $1 and started off my hobby of restoring old tools:

First Long C power tool I picked up. Oh, and it was free! She couldn't tell me how old it was, but it had sat in their barn for 17 years. We pulled it out and the thing purrs like a kitten.

Dropped price to $100 shipped.

Recently bought this one in Utica NY from a man selling the estate of his late-grandfather. Man had an awesome workshop! I've never heard of Martin a a company, but the tape pulls so smoothly and the return mechanism is very snappy. Definitely worth the $1.
