Yes, I am pretty sure they are made out of the same factory. A friend of mine has the craftsman pros and they feel and look pretty much identical to me when side to side. That set you linked to is on sale for $20. That is a great price for a 6 piece set in my opinion.

I haven't ever had a single issue with Gearwrench or Kobalt (or Husky or Stanley for that matter). I have seen a handful of Harbor Freight tools break. Most of my Kobalt tools were bought on steep discounts from Lowe's and have worked great especially for their price. I use my Kobalt pliers...

I grabbed this and the channellock screwdriver set they had for 10 bucks. Both lights worked fine when I checked them out last night and were bright enough for use in my truck tool kit.

I have never been able to stack coupons, but you should definitely search around as SMKS suggested. You can play around with the different codes online and see which one gets you the lowest price.

Unfortunately, all of those situations can apply and I am not sure much can be done about it. For the most part, if I see a price online and head to Lowe's and it is still priced higher, it will ring up at either the online price or pretty close to it. An example would be the 5 piece pliers...

With advance, you order online to use their coupon codes and then pick it up at the store. They were running a 30% promotion using the code TRT30 which I believe is still valid. Prices vary on items, but I have not seen anything cheaper than the prices I ended up paying for my socket sets.

You will definitely like the Gearwrench cushion grips. Also, don't forget to search around for coupons for Advance Auto Parts. I have purchased most of my Gearwrench stuff from there at prices I could not find anywhere else.
