I have found some letters on the front that may be the serial number. Does anyone know where to find any serial number info?

I just picked up a Prentiss No 5 for a song. Where do I find the serial number? I want to restore it, does anyone know what the original colors would have been. It has a fixed base and a swivel jaw, but the pin is missing. Anyone have a photo of a pin that they could post? Thanks

You are correct. And yes, I do want to run the tracks along the scissor trusses. The garage is 32' left to right and 24' front to back. The doors(3) are on the 32' side. The doors are 9' x 8' insulated Overhead Door Brand doors. I am not 100% sure on the weight, but I am sure they are less...
