I need help with my furnace

Try lighting the propane stove and let it burn for 10 or 15 minutes to get the air out of the line. Can you hear any clicking? Is the thermostat turned to heat? As others have asked, is your 12v system working?

    protecting windows

Thick plexiglass, but to retain your ventilation, mount it on standoffs a couple of inches from the building. It's done all the time for artwork and signs, but it should work fine for what you want.

The all inclusive PhotoBucket issues, problems and solutions

Re: Photobucket Just Screwed Me Real Hard I can agree with those who said that you should never have only one copy of your data or photos, even (or maybe especially) in the "cloud". You never know when a company will go belly up or change their policies. And while this sux overall, looking at...

    Fios ONT placement issues?

Most installers become more helpful if you slip them a twenty.

    Where do you store gasoline/propane?

In the garage well away from my power tools. As said by others, what's the difference between the gas cans and gas tanks in your vehicles?

Choosing a lawnmower is driving me crazy

Not the current models. The two-stroke won't pass emissions, and I don't think they do the aluminum deck anymore. They're owned by Toro now. Years ago I remember my grandfather always had a Lawnboy. He thought they were a premium mower at the time.

Engine shuts off at first stop light every morning.

This sounds similar, except for the "often occurs after extended drives" part.

How close can I get the garage door to the ceiling with the LM 8500?

The LM8500 opener doesn't care. It has everything to do with the track and how it's installed. your goal is very feasible. I have 14' ceilings using LM 8500 openers. I'm probably 10-12" from the ceiling, but at that height I didn't care about making it any closer.

    Another Adhesive Remover Thread

OK, thanks for the suggestions. I will see what I can find. I should mention that I have the rubber gasket out of the vehicle, so no worries about the paint.

    Another Adhesive Remover Thread

I was just reading the adhesive removal thread where the OP is removing flooring for a new Taco Shop (or Tacoma Shop if you read the thread early on). I need to remove Gorilla Tape residue from a rubber window gasket. I broke the rear quarter window on my Jeep Cherokee a few months ago, and due...

    #8-36x3" bolt

In this case I agree with those above who say it's metric. It's VERY doubtful that IKEA would use a 8-36 machine screw, but given that they are European, it's very likely they would use metric.

    data center solution

If you will note, 2 posts up from yours, the OP returned with some clarification (not much, but some) on what he needs info on. To me, it doesn't sound fishy, just a new member who doesn't yet have the experience to ask clear questions. Of course, he may have other issues. I know I've asked...

    Toilet below grade in garage

This. First check where the actual sewer pipe is. As Mickey O said, the garage may be below the level of the house and it's plumbing, but if the main line is far enough under ground, you may be able to just tie into it. Otherwise it sounds like it wouldn't be difficult to do a raised platform...

Can the T8 LED tubes run without ballast?

Yes. Rewire the fixture according to what the bulbs need and get rid of the ballasts. This bulb is from the sticky at the top of the electrical page. It can be used with direct 120v wiring. I believe there is a PDF on that page showing how it needs to be wired.

    Android App for measuring light

OK, I'm playing with two of these to see which one I like. Thanks for the suggestions!
