hey guys, thanks again for the help.. ok, i adjusted the arm, heres a pic, but the trolley wont run up far enofe to engage. you can see the trolley coupler not connected . i turned the down screw a little at a time to see if it would run the coupler up closer, but no change. im really not sure...

thanks padroo, so whats the procedure to adjusting the down force ?

hey guys, thanks again for the help. so should i shorten the arm its self to get the trolley closer to the door, or should i leave the arm long and move the door mount further down the door..

hey guys, thanks for the replies.. umm, I monkeyed around with the dial that points toward the door going down more, it didn't seam to help any. as far as the light under the door, its just a small crack of light, not a big gap, but it does show me its not pushing down hard on the rubber seal...

no i havent, but it roles up and down smooth, just when i let off the button, at any point while going down, it stops and tries to start going back up.

hey upndown, thanks for the reply. are you talking about the safety sensors at the bottom of the door ? if so, i dont have these. ive had this electric door for 12 years with no sensors and just this last 6 months or so, its been not working correctly.

hey guys, i have a question about my door opener. i dont have a remote, so i use the button in side on the wall. It will open with one push, but you haft to hold it down for the door to close all the way. Any ideas whats going on ? thanks ...

hey guys, talking about bad luck, its been a couple years iv been living with it, so i had my new garage floor pored, every thing was good, then not 30 minutes after everyone left, it started raining, omg... i could do nothing but cry.. seams like the rain washed the finish off or something...
