What's that suppose to mean?

I wish there was a video of taking that apart just like there is to get to the wiring! But no body goes that far into taking them apart.

The whole shaft has to come out to get the lever(fork) out!

Yes I am working on a MSxe 636 ll. And yes it is called the lever that I need to replace. I did remove the circlip but I can not pull the shaft out. One article send it was suppose to fall out but there's no way it will do that. I have pulled and turned but I can't figure it out...or get it out!

I've got an aging Fein Multimaster.....the greatest tool EVER! I LOVE this tool! But it stopped oscillating , took it apart and the fork is broken at the cam bearing. I've got the part from ereplacementparts.com but cannot figure out how to remove the old fork! I have the clip out but I can't...
