    Using what works in Russia

To the original point, this kind of thing goes both ways, when the Russians needed a transport aircraft to move their version of the space shuttle around they built a massive six engine cargo plane, of which only one was ever completed and massive amounts of resources went into it's design and...

A look into the New Lowes Craftsman set up

From Craftsman's Facebook page: "Who would’ve thought that chrome and CRAFTSMAN red would look so good together? Stay tuned to our channel for more clues to what’s coming. #ChromingSoon" People are thinking it is possibly a hint at US made chrome hand tools. We'll see how it plays out. This is...

A look into the New Lowes Craftsman set up

They are supposed to, however you may need to educate the associate and/or manager your are dealing with to this fact by using the Craftsman and Lowes websites to accomplish this. Lowes employee training on this has been hit or miss from the responses seen here.

A look into the New Lowes Craftsman set up

The Craftsman stuff and tool department look great, I was surprised to see they actually got the flex handle ratchets in stock (not listed on Lowes.com or pictured on Craftsman.com yet), that was what I wanted to see. But, good lord the price, like $70 for 1/2" $60 for 3/8", they can keep 'em. I...

    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

Thanks for the feedback on the DCF890. I'm just a home user so I wanted to know if it could get the lugs off my cars, the highest torque being my Challenger @ 110lb-ft. It's no big deal if it can't, I bought the Gearwrench 3/8" impact socket set with SAE & Metric, standard and deep, for $55...

    Let's discuss Ridgid Cordless tools........

I never knew that place was there, I clicked on it wondering where this magic tool store was, thinking it was probably in some other part of the country, turns out I'm sitting here at work like a mile away, almost right down the street. I gotta check it out.

Does anybody use the DCF890 3/8" Impact? I want to know if it can remove passenger car lug nuts without having to break them loose first?

I just want to score that deal you just did. Corded/cordless 2gal hand vac looks nice if you don't have one of those.

    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

I was wondering, anybody have the DCF890 3/8" impact? What I want to know is can it remove properly torqued lug nuts on a passenger car? And if so, have you used it powered by 4AH batteries and/or 2AH batteries and been able to remove lug nuts? (I would like to buy the bare tool and not have to...

Craftsman 1/4" drive 12 point metric socket set

This comes up now and then, the answer is they made a few a long time ago, but I've never seen them, some say they have some. They are very rare, it would be neat if someone could post a pic of the ones they have to show the unicorn exists. People must want them to solve their OCD problems of...
