Thanks for the info, guys. I can't believe the price difference between the window AC units and the Wall-sleeve variety. It's insane.

For my 20'X20' 2 car garage, would a 12K BTU unit be adequate? Orlando is scorching hot right now and is for most of the year. For the record, I intend on insulating my garage door along with this install. Eventually, I'll get my ceiling done,too.

JT, How did you install the brackets to the AC unit? Screws or Rivets? I'm looking at a 12K one on CL right now for $150, it appears to be the same model you have.
