Greenerd #30 3-ton armature press. I made up a plate to allow it to operate and be used like a typical arbor press. Bought from HGR surplus 15-ish yrs ago. The green paint makes me wonder if it was originally in a John Deere facility?

I have an old 1942 Greenerd catalog. And it states that their armature presses were intended for "Electrical Repairmen". The catalog picture shows the word "ARMATURE" w/ the E, on the casting.

Parts are no longer available! Bought a Greenerd 30R (3 ton) arbor press many years ago. It had fallen over and broke a few of its castings. I made an offer on the Greenerd stand it was sitting on. But the busted up press had to go with the stand. These are pieces leftover years later. Free...

Found a like new Kurt D-50 milling vise w/ 2 jaw sets for a very fair price. A little drive to get it, seller would not ship. Was quite pleased w/ that deal. Have done a little selling of some of my excess B&S#9, 5C, & 2J collets as well.

Have my alum 28 ft extension ladder stored on the long wall inside of my garage, up high and out of the way.
