Sadly, I held off on the AC for now. I really should have included a mini split in the original design, but I didn't want to complicate it considering I was doing the wiring myself. That being said, I do believe I'll have to add one in the future and I'll be able to do that.
This is taking longer than I thought--imagine that! :ROFLMAO: Drywall is up an primer/paint is on the exterior. Sadly, I had to put the mudding and taping on hold due to the AZ summer heat. It's only like 115 outside, but the mud was drying out before I could finish even a short joint.
Now I have to buy drywall... Gonna get 20 sheets of 5/8ths 4' x 12'. Is one brand better than another? A local drywall place charges $18 a sheet (HD & Lowe's want $23.98). The brand is Pabco--anyone ever use it, is it any good? Also does Lowe's and HD deliver?
I had some fun with the electrical. This is the first major thing I actually did myself. I come from a competition car stereo background so I made my wiring extra neat. It's a shame it's all buried in expanding foam now! 🤣
I got a 3-pack of those flood lights above on sale for around $70. True to form they dropped the price another $20 after that. :ROFLMAO: Amazon wouldn't price adjust but they did say I could order the cheaper (same) ones and return mine. I let it go but waited on the Barrina lights that I just...
And I did a Time-Lapse version of my concrete video. Check it out here:
Up next is framing which I'll get too after the stucco is done. Any thoughts or pointers on my videos and how I can make them better would be greatly appreciated!
Thinking about the Onforu flood lights for the backyard and the Barrina strips for in the shop. Anyone have experience with either of these?
Also, can anyone tell me the lowest height, and the highest height for 120v receptacles? I have been researching it and seen various numbers from 12" to...
So sorry I didn't realize I was posting all this in the Introduce Yourself section... (thanks for pointing me in the right direction Turbowoodworker!) I have started a new thread on my garage addition in the correct place ( I hope :ROFLMAO:). The build and videos are well underway and I...

I recently posted a pretty comprehensive video on the foundation install. I really got lucky and found a GREAT concrete guy. I actually got him to sit down for 10 min and explain what he and the crew did in the video -- that section is toward the end.
