I left my foam there, same thickness of 6" throughout slab. I did keep rebar and tubes out of the mounting locations.

Check what you can get rental attachments for. In our area, that is skid steer only. I have an older asv track loader and when it dies, I'll buy another right away. Zero turn for mowing

I just got a blue 72" masterforce from Menards after taking a long look at the HF 72". While significantly more money, I have no regrets. Slightly deeper, MUCH better drawer pulls and 3 wide drawers sealed the deal

Skimp somewhere else if you must. Put in the 2" foam! I'm in WI and I often wish I'd done more than 2".

I recently bought the M18 sander and I've been really happy with it. I use it with a vac attached most of the time. I haven't used the Makita but generally there stuff is on par with Milwaukee. Probably can't go wrong with either one. See if you can put hands on both maybe and see what feels...
I recently picked up a big Joe manual stacker just like the link above for $600. It lifts 2k pounds to 11 feet and is the handiest darn thing. I have pallet forks for my skid steer but the stacker is way more useful. Watch for used ones, many of the manual stackers like mine just take a 12v deep...
I have a similar system from Menards in my 40x56x14 shed and I installed a Tekmar 561 wifi tstat so I could both have a floor sensor and wifi control. So far so good and it tells me actual run time (about 4 hours a day now with outside temps in upper 20s)...
You'll need stainless venting to go horizontal and the heater may need to be moved farther from the wall, check there instructions for venting. The manual with heater should detail what you need - it's not cheap. I tend to run the vent almost level

I would not recommend doing that. Proper fill is minor in the grand scheme of the costs considering that slab size. Do it right, do it once

For me, 4" floors often end up less than that in spots. I did 6" throughout because I'm not a fan of deeper spots for lift pads. No regrets

I did 2" of foam and 6" concrete and I'd pick that every time. I do have a 2 post mounted to the floor that made a difference. Nothing wrong with a good 4" floor though.

The guy who put the 56' gutters on my shed used gutter buddys

Would probably need 3. Still not sure how to get it down in one piece without bending though. It took two of us to get those 56 footers up there.
I'd vote to have a...
I have about 6 of those, most I drilled a couple small 1/8" hole to let them slowly drain. I would not fill them with concrete, having that space below the exit is good for catching crud
