I have that disk/belt sander as well but mine is a jet branded unit JSG-6DCK. Only difference I can see is that jet rates it at 1.5 hp while the grizzly and enco are rated at 1 hp.
I have a few ideas for a table lift, but honestly I haven't needed to adjust the table yet. But it does run good, yesterday I drilled about 20 3/4 holes through 1/2 plate, and 4 7/8 holes through 1" plate.
I think the one in the pic is dated 77 sold under CTT. I knew they were around before 1980, but most of them I have seen and 4 out of the five I have owned were from 80 and up.

I know this is an old thread but it looks like I may have some clue as to who made my drill press now.
Mabey I don't know, It looks similar to the ad but it also looks like one made by the Henry and Wright mfg. co. The steering wheel was definitely added by some one.
So I'm back and we settled at 450. I will pick them up Monday, they both are in better condition than I expected they are covered in dust from the dirt floor. Any rust was very light surface rust nothing wd40 and a scotch pad wouldn't take care of, although I do plan on disassembling them for a...
