Which one do you have? I saw there are 2: brushed with claimed 500 ft-lb and brushless with 600 ft-lb. For my home use only once in a while, I'll probably get the brushed (cheaper @$130 + 4A batt and charger)
Thank you all! I appreciate all your inputs. I understand that using a hex-to-1/2-inch adapter introduced loss and also the "claimed" torque is always exagerated but I just didn't expect that a claimed 187-ft-lb can't even move a 83 ft-lb nut :) Ok, thanks for the suggestion, time to get that...
Hi all, I do have air compressor and impact wrench at home, but I thought I could buy the Ridgid brushless impact driver for its convenience (https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/cordless-brushless-impact-driver).
It claimed to have 2250 inch-lb, which translated into 187 ft-lb of torque, that's what I...
Thank you so much everyone, now I feel better 🙂
Yes, everything works great except the manual on/off switch. It stuck on ON so I turn it on/off from the power strip.
The pressure shut off switch works. The pressure release valve works. The pump runs great. They really made things to last in...
Thank you for your input. I appreciate it. My compressor still works great. The only thing that stopped working long ago was the manual ON/OFF switch so I turn it on/off on the power strip.
I was just afraid that the tank would suddenly explode. Did that ever happen anywhere?
Hi all, I have a 25-gallon campbell hausfeld (made in USA, belt drive, oil-type) that's 30+ years old:
- I used it probably at most once a month to air up car tires and occasionally running air tools at home (impact wrench and ratchet.) I drained the tank after every use and the drained water...
Can it be lowered very slowly under weight? The one I got from HF dropped down too fast, no matter how slow I turned the screw to release the pressure.
