Hey everyone - I just wanted to introduce myself to the community here. I live in the northern Los Angeles area and make my living as a software engineer. Its a very rewarding and challenging career that I really enjoy. However, I've always loved working with my hands and tinkering with...
I was just wondering...I figured there would be sound reasoning behind that decision, as we all want more vertical space :) It's looking great so far. Nicely done.
The garage looks awesome so far...keep the pics comin' :)
That barn is way cool btw...I'm looking forward to its restoration. This is by far my favorite pic too
Congrats, its coming together very nicely!
I love how the floor came out too. I'm just curious what sort of prep was required for the Epoxy-Coat. I've been wanting to do this in my garage for quite some time
This might be a dumb question, but why did you go with a lower roof for the garage? It seems like it would have blended better with the original structure by continuing the original roof line.
Re: 60x100x18 - My dream coming true in the PNW.
I can't wait to see this one come together. That is a stunning view.
And you're building the shop before the house...kudos to you. I would never get away with that :bounce:
I think in the video you mentioned that you were planning on removing those three large trees...what made you decide to keep them? I'd be worried sick about a large branch breaking loose and coming through the roof :(
