I have to agree with you. Pneumatics are here to stay. Not likely to have battery powered substitutes any time soon.

I've got an old B&D cordless screwdriver from the '90s. The thing still works, though not for long. The Ni-Cad battery has seen better days.

I have the Greenworks G-Max line to and have been VERY pleased with them. So far, I have the 16" chainsaw, the pole saw, pole hedge trimmer, string trimer and leaf blower. The 4 Ah batteries are a MUST!

If you are not opposed to battery powered, I recommend the Greenworks G-Max 40V pole heddge trimmer with the 4 Ah battery. That thing is a beast! Great battery life, too, though I recommend having a second battery if you have a lot to do in a day.
