I have an older netbook that I use in the garage when needed. Has a 9-cell battery for long battery life and is small enough to be set anywhere, perfect solution for what I need and I get use out of something that was just sitting around.

These are all really good tips, learned a lot in a few short pages. Considering I was only 8 years old 20 years ago I would have to say there are a lot of things I did not know back then naturally. This is a great topic thanks to everyone who contributed!

Unfortunately they tend to lay where they fall in the garage (soon to change after this summer) but in the basement work area there is a shelf that I keep the chargers, batteries and tools on for easy access & charging.

Yeah that wouldn't be a problem since they are digital files, just a matter of finding a good sticker printer.

Did another this time for my Rambler blog. Tried for more pitting on the surface on this one and gave it a wood background to make it pop a bit more. Thoughts?

Designed it all from scratch using some textures and Photoshop trickery. The type was derived from the original hand lettering found on my pops tow truck, which I created digitally with some more accents. I am working on another for my blog that I will post up soon. Thanks for the comments...

DL: A lot so far, including how to utilize the space you have available. Also garages built out of turn-of-the-century barn board can hold some surprises (like cool old pulleys).
