Thank you for the responses. I really need to get back to it this summer. I have been busy finish the Apartment above the Garage. This spring/summer I need to finish the doors and Build a couple with drawers and Wall cabinets. I do need to add a couple of update pics.
Sorry for the lag of updates just been busy with other projects around the house. I am finishing a room above the garage now. Need to finish that monther in-law apartment soon lol. I do have some picture updates I will try to get them up this weekend.
Your sand blaster is it a bench style one? I have always wanted a sandblaster but they are so messy. Yours looks like it fall into a tray or is it sucked back into it the tray?
I am jealous. I love the hard plumed dust collection system. But more than anything I like the inside facade. I have always wanted to do one in my basement and/or garage. But never had the room to do it.
I really appreciate your sugestion and will use it if they start to lean/sag at all. I like the idea of the cap to make them adjustable. If I do end up needing legs I will paint the flanges, *******, and caps a chrome and put them out front.
I hear you about wives thinking most projects take 30 minutes at the longest a weeked.(multiple epesodes lol). I have been working on my garage for a month. But I don't get full weekends with 3 kids(7,12, and 4months old). She just wants it done so I can start the honey do list.
Sorry back...
I am excited to see what you have planned and do with your buildings. I love old sfarm out buildings I would love to buy an old farm and convert the old barns into garages and workshops.
I forgot to tell you all that I did test the strength of these cabinets. Once they were loaded I jumped up on the end cabinet of the three and bounced on it and it didn't move or creak so I think they should hold there shape and not sag. I know butcher block is heavy but with all the cabinets...
