    peterbilt project

I have come a long ways since I posted my 94. I bought this 2000. Then I had it cut in half and stretched 54 inches and added a 3rd axle. Then bought the 55 ton trail king. Got lots of good info off of the couple of builds you have done here.

Man cool build. I just bought a 94 KW I will be going through a lot of the same stuff on, although I am not stretching it. Bet that she is going to look sharp when you get her all painted up. Here is a pic of mine. Haven't bought a trailer yet, but when I do it will be a step deck. I...

    Scored the old dodge dealer

That is what I thought, I moved from a 1200 square foot shop with a 900 square foot office that housed a lot of my stuff, this building is over 6,000 square feet and is already pretty much full, the silver lining is though everything gets to park inside here. At the other place I could only park...

    Scored the old dodge dealer

Here are some pics of the first paying welding job I did in the new place. I had some guys from an enviromental company bring in thier trailer when the frame had cracked. As you can see it was bent pretty badly, I had to cut out the crack with a wafer disc and do an open V groove weld...

    Scored the old dodge dealer

Previous tennants have a mexican restaraunt, they have another one identical outside of thier place. Oh and at this moment the hard thing isnt coming up with a joke, it is which one to use... Think I will roll with "Guess that means mexicans really like the ****"

    Scored the old dodge dealer

How I can live in a commercially zoned area? I dont know what the zoning regulation on it is, but I do know it is a very very common practice, in fact both of my neighbors live at thier buildings. The "chick" is the girlfriend, and well she does that. No floor plan yet. I am still trying to...

    Scored the old dodge dealer

So I did it, I found the most totally awesome space I could ever hope to inhabit. The old Dodge dealer from the 1940's! The building was built in 1948, and it has a ton of character. Right now I am living in the offices which are pretty nice. But the Shop space is what makes it all...

Finally a shop I can work in.

Thanks, I am really looking forward to having it finished, I am putting air ride suspension in it, and I am replacing the front cab floor with that out of a 93 so I can put a set of 98 suburban seats in it along with a custom center console. I am also going to ditch the passenger side saddle...

Right now there is nothing in the olds, however there is a 68 model 455 CID rocket waiting to be built for it. :rocker: The Trans Am is getting a 455 as well. Ironically the 383 stroker in the camaro is the smallest motor I own. :3gears:

You are right, it definately has a good vibe. Also helps im directly across the street from the big truck shop in town, so half the time if I need parts all I have to do is walk across the street.

Finally a shop I can work in.

Oh man I know it, I also got rid of a 30 mile commute into town every day when I got this place so that has made a huge difference, expecially because I was making that commute in a ton and a half wrecker! It has taken away about 500 miles a week I was driving needlessly. That will wear a...
