Subscribed. I have my Dad's 1962 version that he purchased 6months before I was born. Plan to someday redo it to its glory. Back in the day I even purchased a new 300, and traded off for a larger SNAPON tool box back in 1983.
Looking to buy a new cordless tool kit. I see that the Rigid have a lifetime warranty and am leaning in that direction. However the Milwaukee have been great tools for my corded versions.

Son has a Power Built 3000 small floor jack. It was working fine for a couple of years. Now when you raise it to the full height it will drop back down an inch or so. It is full on oil with nothing leaking externally.
Any ideas?
If these are solid you can use an orbital sander to restore them. Depending on the gloss or satin finish will depend on the sand paper you use. Gloss will need something in the 600-grit range. Just make sure they are laminate with particle board underneath. Good Luck.
