    Architectural Elements Builds

Nope, I don't have the equipment nor the talent to pull it off. I like your design element and like the alternative style to the standard fire pit. Alas, my beer budget cannot afford your skills. Good luck with the barrels. And, if you ran the shop down at the back of the Temptor building...

You wouldn't happen to reside at the Temptor lofts would you? Your interior pics look familiar as my FIL lives there. Also, would you be willing to disclose the price you would sell the burn barrel for?

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Finally, I am able to contribute productively to this thread rather than reply with acute observations. First and foremost, I'm :D with envy. This thread struck a chord, and I knew I might be able to help. Chris, I may have a possible solution for you. You see, although I am in my early 40's...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Fantastic job and the color is stunning! Seems to me the fine details would be more "crisp" if the white were applied first, then the blue; with the lettering/raised detail masked off. Your pictures make it look as if the letters were a little sloppy. Of course, this may not be the case and...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

Although the codes are different business vs. residential here in the USA, there are companies providing just such a system for residential usage. I've been following this company for a few years after reading about them in the newspaper. If and when I ever build a new house, I'll be putting...

    72-year-old couple building a barn (garage/workshop)

Re: 70 Yr old couple building a barn (garage/workshop) I am in awe of your sheer ingenuity. Not only have you built your barn with your own hands, but you've also built/engineered all of your "helper" tools from derrick to the slide to prevent damage to the metal sheeting. Your attention to...

    Backyard Garage in Richmond Tx

Christ Almighty! I've counted a boat, fox body Mustang, 70-72 C10, 2ng gen Camaro/Firebird, a black car I cannot identify, a club car, an atv and more stuff than I can shake a stick at. They do build 'em bigger in Texas!!

Shed Project: New Construction Build Thread

I was under the impression that the T junction was back filled as well. Sounds like you've thought it through. In case you're not aware, the big box stores sell a "lubricant" in the electrical section to use when pulling wire. May or may not be of interest to you or even needed. Makes pulling...

Shed Project: New Construction Build Thread

That's exactly what I'm thinking. There's no way romex or any other heavy gauge wire is going to make it throught that T after it's been buried. Smart money would have been to pull/slip wire through when laying the conduit in. Will wait to see how this pans out.
