A motion computing MC-F5 with an i7 is a nice machine and most have built in barcode scanner and all have a built in carry handle. There is one on eBay now for $89.99 with free shipping. These are aimed at the medical field and look pretty rugged although I have no personal hands on with them.

I have a HF red 3 shelf cart and also an extra lid from my buddy's red 5 drawer cart and would like to put the lid on the 3 shelf. I know I saw something similar in the mods to the carts thread but never saw a build thread for this. Anyone done this and maybe some in progress pictures? Or a link...

No sorry my buddy bought it for his craftsman boxes and has since sold the set.

My cart was trash picked by a friend's dad and it needed one set of slides replaced and the rest cleaned and lubed. Other than a good cleaning and new lock due to lack of a key it is still a really nice cart. These are a great bang for the buck new or used and I feel they are a very good cart...

I had a large collection of C3 Craftsman stuff with quite a few li-ion batteries of varying capacities and all of them had issues from day one retaining a charge for any length of time. Sold all them off last Black Friday and got the 9 piece Dewalt 20v set and much happier with the battery life...

I had the black version of that and my craftsman pry bars fit in it but if I remember correctly I had to use a step drill to enlarge a few holes to get them stored all next to each other. My bars are the black and red ones with striking caps.

Yes she is a great helper and has good skills with tools and even goes to the junkyard with me!!! Helps with many projects both house and auto related.

Thanks Hammer1963! My better half picked the paint based on a big chip from inside the peeling drawer. She helped me with removing the trim from the other 3 drawers this afternoon and hope to have them in paint tomorrow and let them cure for a week before reassembling it all.

Here is first drawer I have refinished the face of. Used Rust-Oleum primer and Rust-Oleum Cherry Gloss paint. The 3 drawers in box are original buffed paint and I think match is pretty close. Will try to do the other 3 over the weekend so I can leave it sit and cure all next week.

Here are a few pictures of this box. Rough but fixable I think. The vinyl wrap for the drawers is looking more appealing so no worries of paint matching, not really wanting to make it look new just nicer and still retain some of the character from it being used.
