    What did you buy today?

I went to a yard sale and found a decent amount of antique tools for amazingly cheap. A few augers for 25 cents each and some blacksmith tongs. Also bought a tool set for kids that is identical to the one I used as a kid! My son will be extatic when he gets home!

any opinions or reviews of this Milwaukee M18 2-tool kit?

I'm a contractor and have used virtually every brand of 18V lithium drills and drivers made. I most recently bought Milwuakee drill, driver, and sawz all. I love them. Prior to buying these Makita was my hands down favorite but Milwaukee has a few extra features that I really enjoy. You won't be...

    Vintage Snap-On Belt Buckle

I came across a Snap-On belt buckle. I know someone out there collects them and this is one of the nicest I've seen! I would prefer to trade for whatever it is that you have extra or to spare. Cash is always a possibility, too! I'm not looking to get rich. Just want to trade for something I'd...

Vice Grip Groove Lock Sale @ Sears!!!

Ok. Sorry. I was originally just going to post how well I liked them but I figured I'd pass on the deal, as well! I just started using the forum and still haven't found all the alleys and corners yet! Thanks.

Vice Grip Groove Lock Sale @ Sears!!!

Sears is having a weekend sale that has a 2 set of these Channel Locks (6" and 8") for $12.49. Over HALF OFF! I was going to pick them up for the tool box before I knew that they were a new 'Groove Lock' design. They allow you to skip the infamously frustrating step of changing the width of...

Husky 41" 10 Drawer tool chest review

I just bought this set and absolutely love it. The quality of the bearing drawers and the castor wheels is 10 times better than the C-man Professional series that I was going to buy. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202017595/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

Home Depot 89.00 Roibi package deal? Deal or No Deal?

I hate to disagree but well, I do. It may make do for general handyman and occasional work but I promise you it won't last when faced with serious work. I'm not a person that swears you must have dewalt and snap on. I actually don't advise buying them either because their excessive price don't...

    Organize sockets

After trying everything under the sun I found these rails that are heads and tails over the metal ones. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00941849000P?mv=rr I've spent years searching for and cussing out every socket organizer I tried. They were either a bear to remove the socket or...

    I dont use wrenches

I go to my ratcheting wrenches before I reach for anything else. They fit into tighter spots, allow for better leverage, and don' give you the top heavy wobble that sockets do. I have C-man, kobalt, and Gearhead ratcheting wrench sets. Of which Gearhead is far superior. As for using and...

    dewalt 18v lithium?? worth it

As a professional contractor, I use my drills and impact drivers daily. I upgraded to Lithium-Ion 4 years ago from 18v Dewalts. The initial switch was difficult because of the money I had invested with the Dewalts but once it was done I never looked back. The charge lasts longer. There is more...
