That's a Great looking bench. If it was in my shop it would look awesome... do you deliver? :D I haven't seen a punch set in the box like that for a long time. My uncle had it in his shop when I was growing up... I get an email every week from the GJ and I follow along but there comes a time...

    Wifi to the garage

As luck would have it, I upgraded from an older Mikrotik 2 port AP to a newer 24 port Mikrotikand moved the smaller 2 port to the shop. I ran CAT6 in 1/2' PVC (I put it in when I did the AC ditch) to the shop and plugged the old one in and life is good. I like the Mikrotik AP's and they update...

Question on OSB for workshop walls

Thanks BobL, the Deck screws suggested is a great idea too. I remember something about there being shellac in the OSB so you prime before painting...

    New House, New Shop

I was really wanting to not have to make another car payment and was ready to retire without one, but my old buddy Bert (big expensive red truck) was starting to show signs of his age. I bought BERT, a 97 F-150 Lariat 3door 4x4 in 1999 @ 32k on the clock and have had very little trouble with...

Question on OSB for workshop walls

I insulated with foil backed bubble wrap then used the 7/16 OSB to cover the steel frame with metal sides. The dead air space between the OSB and the outer wall works well to keep the place cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Then we coated it with Kills Primer before painting it. When I...

The American Flag on or in your Shop/Garage

We fly everyday, rain or shine. Harbor Freight has solar powered flag light for around $9 on sale often, & works great too. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

I really had no idea this would cause more work for you... but in my defense, I had no plans to do raised beds either... you know as well as I do that a happy wife = a happy life is a mixed bag of ... well, anyway. Seems like you might have to put more effort into dusting off the bike and just...

    New House, New Shop

I had a Birthday In May and since the old Weber Kettle was 30+ yrs young and needed to retire I guess... the wife decided I needed an upgrade anyway... A dual gas & charcoal BBQ with a Texas Smoker on the end... I did manage to smoke a nice Brisket to break it in.... And my sister sent me our...

    New House, New Shop

We got married last June and gave ourselves a wedding present by upgrading the family room to a 1080p HD Projectior & an electric 92" screen. We moved the big oak entertainment center upstairs with the 42" Sony for the living room. We also had a sofa down there so I built a platform from some...

    New House, New Shop

With all the space we created by removing the trees, the Wife decided we need to have a raised garden this year... so it seemed to be a good idea until the work actually started. Luckily I have a friend at work who builds the boxes so all I had to do was relocate sprinklers and haul a 1/4 yard...
