    Cracked Concrete - Concern?

My garage is 32x26 and is about 12 years old. I have a crack, front to back, right down the center of one of the bays. I have a four post lift in that bay (not bolted to the floor), and the crack is pretty well centered between the posts. How concerned should I be?

    Four Post Lifts

I have a Revolution RFP9 and love it. I had to put in a 220v 30a outlet and wire the motor, but I am the son of an electrician so that was not a problem. I paid for professional assembly/installation be a local service station equipment supplier and it was worth every penny- they accepted...

Stand for final assembly of transmission to engine

That’s what I am looking to do. How did you keep the assembled unit from falling off the bench while you moved the hoist from the trans to the engine? 90 degree rotation and more wood?

Stand for final assembly of transmission to engine

I have stands like each of those linked. The Jegs-style (got it off Amazon) never lined up right and I don’t think would be easily modifiable. The Summit Raving stand is great. I just thought somebody would sell a stand designed to hold an engine and transmission together.

Stand for final assembly of transmission to engine

No rotation necessary. Thinking of bench assembly. Thanks.

Stand for final assembly of transmission to engine

I am looking for a stand designed to hold an engine (SBC) with transmission attached (Muncie 4 speed). Want to do final assembly on it before installing them as a unit. I don’t see anything when I search here or on the web. Surely something like that exists?

    Pouring footers in muck

We had some shrink-swell type soil in the back corner of our garage’s site. Excavator was on site and kept digging the footer deeper until the sides held up. County inspector watched the whole thing. I think the footer wound up 9’ thick in that corner!

    Bridge Jacks

Am interested in hearing about folks' experience with bridge jacks (the scissor kind) used with a 4-post lift. Do they work well? Are they adjustible enough in terms of width to be able to lift a variety of vehicles? I'm looking at a Revolution RFG9 with two rolling bridge jacks. Yes, they...

    4-Post Lift Considerations

I have 33 inches on one side to the wall from the edge of the door, and 32” on the other side to the edge of the next door. If I have the dimensions laid out right, I have at least a foot on either side of the baseplate. But narrower would be better if I can get comfortable with it. Perhaps...

    4-Post Lift Considerations

With the mirrors extended I make it into the garage with just a couple of inches to spare on each side with my Tahoe and S7. I don’t want to have to fold them in to drive between the posts.

    4-Post Lift Considerations

Need to expand the parking area in my garage, so I will be getting a 4 post lift. After a couple of weeks of research, it seems to me that any of the leading brands (BendPak, Rotary Revolution, Danmar, Challenger, Advantage, etc.) is as likely as another to be fine. Horror stories are out...

Gladiator Geartrack panels w/ block concrete walls

I put some up a couple of weeks ago in a basement garage area - cinderblock walls. No issues. I used plastic wall anchors and long screws. Not hanging anything heavy, but the track is solid.

    The Ultimate Garage Lift

How many locking points does this lift have and at what spacing? Thanks.
