    Cheap tools saved the day.

Not for nothing , but I picked up a 3/8 impact extension set 4 pieces for like $7 at HF. They hold up better than my matco. They seem to be made of harder steel. The matco ones have gotten all mushed.

Anyone see the New Harbor Frieght box?

yea used would be the best choice. there are lots of guys who get into mechanics then get out after a year or two. $1500 cash looks real good to a tech that couldn't hack the flat rate life. then you could get a so or matco box.

Anyone see the New Harbor Frieght box?

my matco box was built in ny for a reasonable $7000. just for the bottom chest. a hf box is fine for home use.

    frame replacement

I don't know really anything about jeeps . the rusty tacos were 95 to 04 I think. the 95 to 00 were bought back at 1 1/2 times blue book then crushed. the newer ones get the frame. it works out cheaper i guess. at least toyota stands behind there products.

    Spline flex long wrenches

I have the sk flex head and a set from ez-red that is sk with ez-red stamp. My tool guy said sk could not pay for them so ez-red took them and stamped them. They are my favorite wrenches to use. I have 2 sets for when one breaks so I do not have to wait for a replacement. I only broke one 14mm...
