    Versatube. Any pros and cons?

I'm going to bump this thread back to the top.... I'm considering one of these kits (30'x30'x10') for a garage. I understand that this is a total DIY kit, which I am completely fine with. Specking that kit with two 12'x8' garage door openings, one 36" door opening, and two window openings puts...

Retrofit a drain in existing garage slab

I would be interested in hearing the most economical way to add a drain in an existing garage. My detached 24' x 24' has no floor drains or slope, and snow melt will just puddle. I'd like to be able to core through the floor, dig down 3-4', backfill with gravel, and install a drain, but am not...

Where do I hang this Flame Thrower

I have that same exact heater, the fan does not run continuously. I have my heater installed at the center of the far wall facing towards the double garage doors (24' x 24' garage) with an oscillating fan in one corner to help circulate the heat.

Radiant heat, heat exchanger and pump sizing

Why would you shut the radiant heat off during a vacation? It costs so little to maintain a temperature once achieved that it makes no sense to lose the heat sink to save a few dollars.

Compression - Show Off Your Compressor

Thanks Doc. I will follow those steps tomorrow after work and see if I can get the plugs to break free. I did spray them down with PB Blaster this evening, so hopefully that soaks in a bit.

    Monkey Wards compressor score!

I was wondering about putting heat to the plugs, but wasn't sure if that would compromise the tank. Safety valve works well. A few cans of brake clean, some fresh oil, and draining the tank and I'm hoping it will be good to go.

Compression - Show Off Your Compressor

I picked up this little beauty today for the grand price of $40. 2 hp 20 gal 125 psi 230v air compressor. Works fine, needs to be cleaned up and have the oil changed. Biggest problem I have is the two (one on each end of the tank) drain plugs will not budge. I have no idea when the last time...

    Garage Door Sensor Challenge

An outswing door is also an option. I have one on my garage. Works like a champ and frees up interior wall space.
