Just to clarify...
The oven will not be stored plugged in... it will be on casters and will only be used while im in the shop with it. If it is that much safer though, I can install a new receptacle for it. Just trying to watch the budget whenever possible.
I have a newbie question for you all,
I recently purchased a powder coating system as well as an old electric range/oven for baking parts after powder coating.
The range currently has (from what I can tell) a NEMA 10-50p plug on it.
I already have 6-50r receptacles in my shop on 40 amp...
