Do you guys thik the boss should be inside the vise? The piece used firs perfect but it could be added. Definitely couldnt use that part for small anvil.

The vise is definitely all factory. The piece whete lead screw goes thew fits perfectly between two flanges in vise. I cant find one that even resembles it anywhere.

Ive had quite a few of these but cant seem to find much on this one.

Where can i look to find out what it might be? Where the sctew goes threw it all looks original the wsy vise transitions into the leadscrew nut
