    There are some sick puppies on this forum. My old fashioned hardware store is 5 miles away. When I don't have time to look for something I can run to town. I usually tell Katie that I need " two to use and two to lose". She just shakes her head.

    $150 for the unit. 18 CFM. Still have to buy a magnetic start switch. Has anyone had experience with the cheap ones from China. Domestic models cost twice as much.

    It worked...Jumper to panel, bypass pressure switch and BAM. Pumped just fine and I'll soon know it the tank held pressure overnight. (When I go out to the barn on the way to work) Maybe it's overkill but it should last as long as me. Pictures when project is complete.

    I have what appears to be the very same model. The company is still in business in Springfield, IL. A letter from them last winter informed me that mine was made in 1966. Hard use makes everything look older I guess.
