Thank you everyone for your ideas! I think I'm going to wire wheel it and then spray on the No More Rust rust sealer. Anyone had any bad experiences with the No More Rust products? I think I'll redo the truss supports in a more permanent way too. I'll probably weld up some right triangle...

I like it. Works in the space you have and really demands that you be organized! You should look at the spaces used for garages, workshops, storage, etc. that are used in Japan. Every cubic inch is used for maximum benefit!
