    Annual Epoxy-Coat Contest

Well, this probably doesn't hold a candle to some of these other stories, but here goes: At a very young age, my father started teaching me about small engine repair, large engine repair, regular maintenance on cars, irregular maintenance on cars, etc. His garage became the neighborhood "shop"...

    Exposed conduit on garage walls?

well, it's been a while since i originally started thinking about this process, but I finally got around to it! I started off with just the 4 outlets, about a month ago, and then today I was able to get out into the garage with this beautiful weather and add the last outlet and switch for the...

    Vote On a Paint Scheme!

I voted 'B', but that comes with a "it depends" clause because i also like 'C'. I think if you are going to be parking a nice sports car in there, I wouldn't want the bottom color to be taller on the wall than the car itself for fear of dwarfing the car or drawing the eye away from the car if...

New maple workbench top - what would you do to protect it?

I've heard of this book. I seem to remember something about a carpenter in there too. But i don't think he ever gave out his secrets for a nice butcher block finish. ;)

New maple workbench top - what would you do to protect it?

before i go and buy the BLO, will that also help swell the wood a little bit? I am noticing a few spots that are starting to separate/crack from being dried out. Is there a different product to use to get that to swell back up? Or am i better off just using the BLO or something else to just...
