Thanks for all of the feedback! Definitely helps the thought process. So the OD of the tube is 1/2". The junkyard was my thought on getting a OE style tube unless I could find the block fittings somewhere. Unfortunately the closest one is about 45 minutes away, but things are slow right now...

@dogdog, cutting the off and flaring was my first thought, but there is only about 1" of tubing coming out of the condenser. It should work fine, but on the chance I have an issue, not much room for error.

Does anyone know of anyway to buy just the ends/connectors? I hate having to buy a new condenser line to hack it up. I suppose I could go to a bone yard once we are allowed to go out again. Is there a name for that type of connector?

Thanks for the suggestion. I replaced both the start and run capacitors but it didn't help. I suppose it's possible the new one is bad, but unlikely. The motor has wear and the bearings are slightly noisy, but that still doesn't explain the slow-down. Looking for ideas on what to try next.

Thanks for the suggestion. I took the check valve apart and it looks clean and seems to be working. When I refilled the tank it slowed down at about 50psi this time. Eventually picked back up. I believe the pump is a PUMA. Could a stuck valve (don't really know compressors) cause this. It...

Yes. The belt and motor pulley were replaced about 3 months ago when I got the compressor. The original motor pulley had a broken woodruff key and was out of alignment. The weird thing is that it's intermittent as pressure increases, but eventually the motor gets back to full speed.
