    Mid 50's makes sense. That was the time that my dad worked as a mechanic for Lincoln-Mercury dealerships in Denver. I'm fortunate to have his Snap-On box and tools from that era as well.

    Below are a couple of quick picks of the handle. It appears that the WS photos that I have seen on this forum have a t-handle but mine never had it. I'll be interested to know if Elroy notices any other differences.

    Again, being facetious. The handle is off because it is waiting for a couple of coats of primer and paint to match the rest.

    Hiball, I was being a bit facetious asking about buying the rebuild kit. In fifty years, I'll be in my 90s and if I make it that far, somebody other then me will be worrying about that jack.

    Finally finished up the resto of my Hein Werner WS jack and wanted to post a few pics of it finished. The handle is ready for paint but the rains and cooler temperatures set in so that will have to wait. I have the name plate too but it is so beat-up that I am debating on whether to reinstall...
