    Inexpensive complete screwdriver bit set?

Good morning I have probably bought this bit set 4 or 5x https://www.harborfreight.com/security-bit-set-with-case-100-piece-68457.html I keep one in my car, one in my electrical bag, etc. last night I needed to fix an Electrolux dryer and found it was held together by Robertson head screws...

    M18 fuel batteries?

Point taken, but see above where even as of July of last year, Montgomery County (where I used to live) banned gas powered leaf blowers and actually the City of Baltimore (where I live now) had banned them even earlier although it is not in effect until December of this year I believe. PG...

    M18 fuel batteries?

This is relevant again... did first cut of the season yesterday and unfortunately since the people next door got evicted now I have MORE to do (landlady owns that house too, and I've been helping her with fixit stuff for brownie points) I've already ordered another charger as it would appear...

Looking for a quality inflator with locking chuck

Follow up finally, took the day off work and had an hour or so free in the middle of the day so I dug all this stuff out. the "Milton EZ-Lock™ Euro Air Chuck, Heavy Duty Brass, 175 PSI, Open Flow - 2 Pieces" P/N 697-OP2 DOES WORK on a BMW E9x TPMS valve stem. the "JACO Lightning S2...

Looking for a quality inflator with locking chuck

Bringing this back to the top... it's been almost a year but I still have the issue. Summary: I obsessively researched air chucks and somehow still ended up with a setup that will not work on 33.3% of my vehicles (the Jaco locking chuck will not work on my BMW's valve stems). Someone stole my...

The completest standard (that is, not metric) socket or wrench set list of sizes?

Hah! I have actually done just that however I did not remember that fact.

The completest standard (that is, not metric) socket or wrench set list of sizes?

Also, I found this https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/where-were-19-32-25-32-and-31-32-wrenches-and-sockets-used.141621/#post-4167809 showing 13/32", 19/32", 25/32", and 31/32" as standard sizes (and better yet, for which nut sizes they were used)...

The completest standard (that is, not metric) socket or wrench set list of sizes?

I think the #8 *nuts* are 11/32" but the bolt heads are something else. The chart I found says 1/4" but that seems wrong. (is it just me or are google results getting less useful?) In any case I've certainly spent lots of time under the dashboard of various old cars with 11/32" wrenches and...

The completest standard (that is, not metric) socket or wrench set list of sizes?

So assuming that that chart covers all the sizes that were common back in the day, it appears I was smoking the crack on the 15/32" and that isn't an actual used size (but 21/32" is). It also appears that the "unfudgeable" odd sizes are 21/32", 25/32", and 31/32" (that is, sizes that are 0.2mm...

The completest standard (that is, not metric) socket or wrench set list of sizes?

While pulling together all my vaguely recent finds so I could put them in my toolbox next time I run to my storage locker, I also found a Showa branded DOE that's 13/16 and 25/32. Weird that a Japanese mfgr. would make that wrench but hey, it exists.

The completest standard (that is, not metric) socket or wrench set list of sizes?

Good evening all I am sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't google up a definitive answer. I was looking at one of my socket rails and I'd skipped a position, and after looking more closely, I hadn't lost a socket, it appears more like I'd reserved one for an odd x/32" size that...

Solar charge controller for car battery tender?

Good point, but yes in one case but it's always hot, in the other I have it connected via alligator clips to the jump points under the hood.

Solar charge controller for car battery tender?

I like it. I also have a CTek charger so your solution is nice for me. Do you have any issues like I describe in my last post, or does it seem that this is actually keeping your batteries topped up?

Solar charge controller for car battery tender?

Coming back to this after a few months of use. I purchased two solar controllers, this one https://hqsolarpower.com/collections/pwm-charge-controllers/products/30a-12v-24v-pwm-flush-mount-solar-charge-controller-negative-ground and this one...

Fall 2025 - My friend wants a fine tooth ratchet

I believe he's bought the 120xp. I haven't talked to him in a few days so I don't know what he thinks of them yet. I do know he's used my old Williams Superratchets in the past as well as handled a few Dual 80s so he should be able to give a somewhat educated opinion.
