Just Found Out About Advantage Lifts

Yea; no tax Delaware. Just go to DE and pick up some part of the lift, (Like a bag of bolts) then the transaction is in DE not NJ.

Anyone know anything about septic systems? (This seems closet to a "Plumbing" forum here)

And the saga continues. Rented a 5/8" snake. They had a selection of ends, so I took a small two-prong ~1 1\2 inch) and a large 2-prong (~2 1/2 to 3") Used the small one first, and with some work was able to get all the way to the septic tank. Then tried the big one, but not sure if I got...

Anyone know anything about septic systems? (This seems closet to a "Plumbing" forum here)

Reading up seems to say use a heavy snake 5/8 or 3/4. Start with a small cutter or pointed end. Work slow and once through, go back with a large cutter (1 inch under pipe size). Also mentioned is iron pipe rusting through on the bottom. Fingers crossed!!!

    Sewer Snake

Dropping a link to another thread, since my questing is more about snakes than septic systems. (It is there because it is a new chapter in that story.)...

Anyone know anything about septic systems? (This seems closet to a "Plumbing" forum here)

I love when I have a new problem and find my own old thread. So story is; (old problem) all was working well on the line that was "rooted". The basement drain (Basement toilet, laundry and kitchen) is working well, and septic tank seems to be at about the right (Drain field seems to be working...

Just Found Out About Advantage Lifts

I am sorry to hear of this. I bought an Advantage lift several years ago (2 post 10K Chinese made, non ALI Cert), and am very happy with it. I did have a damaged carrier, and Advantage sent me a replacement at no cost. I later realized it was due to me having the cables misadjusted. (My fault...

Is real wood flooring (living room) no longer popular?

You don't have to pull the whole baseboard, just the 1/4 round to ge a good looking installation. P.S. That should be done for any type of flooring.

Kohler 7000 24 HP surging when lightly loaded

I will try that, but the choke is combined with the throttle, and choke on to choke off is a fairly short throw. I am not sur I can get a "little" choke.

Kohler 7000 24 HP surging when lightly loaded

Just dust. I little better on the last cut since we had some good rain, but spring was dry. It blows fairly clean with compressed air. It is a paper pleated filter with a foam cover. (Google Kohler 7000 filter) Engine is running well, just bugging me when I disengage the blades and idle.

Kohler 7000 24 HP surging when lightly loaded

It is not running poorly enough to worry about yet, just odd that the symptom only shows up with a dirty filter. Also a little surprised that 3 hrs running takes the filter from "clean enough " to "too dirty".

Kohler 7000 24 HP surging when lightly loaded

Or you didn't read what I wrote. I don't think i can get a hand/finger on the throttle with the airfilter assembly attached. Being as it doesn't surge or hunt with a clean filter, i am guessing that it would not with the filter removed. All the suggestions will be taken into account when I...

Kohler 7000 24 HP surging when lightly loaded

Not trying to ignore you guys, just trying to make it all make sense. It does have a proper fuel filter. I haven't pulled the covers off to get to the governor. I am guessing that what ever the issue is, it is very slight or just starting, since all is good under (near) perfect conditions...

Kohler 7000 24 HP surging when lightly loaded

I get what you are saying, but it does it towards the end if cutting when the filter is getting dirty, and it doesn't do it at the beginning, or right after cleaning the air filter. Wonder if it is just a little lag or stiffness in the governor. At the end of the season it is going to get a...

    Zero Turn maintenance.

Now that I have had it a while, I have a few more questions. Sems the air filter gets clogged after one good day running (about 3 hours on about 3 acers.) This has been a dry and dusty summer. I can blow the filter clean, but the next time it seems to clog up even sooner. Filters are only about...
