Getting into my head too far. How to support my storage shed?

I don’t really know, I am aware that copper repels those things that gnaw on it. That is why boats are painted with Copper Bottom Paint.

Getting into my head too far. How to support my storage shed?

I am fond of Copper Napthate for termite control. I buy it at Home Depot, every thing I have painted it on has been termite free, I then cover it up with Kilz.

Shed - Build, buy, or DIY "kit." Any input appreciated

Asking advice on how you should acquire a shed is almost like asking about a girl friend or a prospective wife. There are so many variables and other considerations involved. If I had a shortage of cash I would seriously consider using pallets and plywood. The pallets could be modular wall...

Need Advice On Installing OSB To Garage Trusses

I added OSB panels to the upper side of the cords of the trusses in my workshop which was built as a 2 car garage. I painted them before I slid them in place. They have been supporting my fat body and a bunch of stuff for probably about 30 years. I also put in a pull down set of stairs.

    Small shop bathroom layout

My shop toilet room, just a closet with a toilet in it, has a Pocket Door, hand washing is done at a repurposed Kitchen Sink in the main room. The pocket door does not need floor space to swing. Showers are done in the house, not the shop.

    Permit approved!

I have only had to pull permits for an installation of the toilet and associated enclosure, plus the electrical permit to add a light in the toilet room. Also pulled a permit to repair a fence at a rental, both of them were painless, my city building department has been a pleasure to work...

    Help Identify Lift

IMHO, Scrap value would be the most I would offer. They would have to load it on my truck to get that much.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Made the switched outlet on my miter saw table work, I can now start the vacuum to **** up the sawdust as it is being made. The vacuum is very loud, more loud than I want to put up with. Now I can begin to look for a quieter option.

Oue Scientific Products "relay" isn't working, any suggestions?

I have encountered several instances of when someone butchered a relay by “Adjusting The Contacts” with needle nosed pliers. I saw this most frequently on old equipment often of foreign manufacturer. Sometimes I needed to reverse engineer the product and substitute a domestic relay. I...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Found out what mistakes I had made in adding a switched outlet to my miter saw table. The first one was not using the most appropriate material for the job, I decided to make do with what I had rather than spending a few bucks on the preferred stuff. Secondly I did not write out a plan, I was...
