Are they anything like the Kinco 1784's or 1786's? They work good until they get wet inside. Then they smell and take FOREVER to dry, even on a boot dryer!

That is a $700 AC unit. Like HVAC prices, window AC prices went up due to the new 454b refrigerant mandate. Although those units are R32, which is better IMO.

I use a bridge bearing pad (aka 'Elastomeric Bearing Pad') that was given to me my a family member who builds/repairs bridges for the state DOT. It'll bend/flex under load but always returns to its original shape. It will last a lifetime as a jack pad.
