I've noticed on days when it's freezing outside that the inside of the building is about 4-6 C warmer, even with out firing up the wood stove for days. Guessing that's from the ground not being completely frozen under the concrete and the heat rising up? Next winter it should be all sealed up...

Update - I finally installed the wood stove this fall. Chose the location near the man door. I'm happy with it there as it's the door I carry the wood in. I still need to insulate, but the wood stove still makes it about 10-15 C warmer than the frigid temps outside this winter. I've got a blower...

I will be installing 2 fans on the ceiling to move the heat around. I know I want the radiant heat, it's just the money. I'm so eager to get the cement in so I can use the space I have, but I'd regret it later on if I didn't put the in floor heating in. So I'm 90% sure I will have radiant heat...
