I have been using cardboard, worked great so far.
I have all the extra pieces folded and leaned against the wall, then held in place with a couple drywall screws. When they get too dirty, I move them to the burn pile and put a new layer down.
Give Rob-Bilt a call, you will not be sorry. I called every company I could find for 4 months. Rob-Bilt had the best price but more importantly the best quality of construction in my opinion.
We will have to agree to disagree.
lets use your example.
A 32K softener ran to full capacity or a 48K ran to 32K capacity. Either will use the same amount of salt for a regin. Again, resin is not magic. it is simple ion exchange. There is no benefit to running a larger unit at reduced...
That is incorrect. Resin is not magic. Its simple ion exchange. The higher capacity unit will have more resin than the smaller unit which will result in longer time between regins due to increased resin capacity.
During a regin, the larger amount of resin will require more salt and make up...
What is the difference of the two? What accounts for the higher exchange capacity?
Is it a different type of resin or is it just more of the same type of resin?
If its just more resin, you will use more salt and more water each cycle to regenerate.
I am also wondering where this "dust cloud" everyone is talking about is coming from.
If its dirty enough to create a big dust cloud, it should be swept first.
I get very little dust cloud when I use the blower on mine but im not using it for big piles of dirt either.
For the pole barn, dewalt blower every time. Just for dust and dead bugs and such. Anything big gets swept and picked up with the dust pan first.
Other than dead of winter, if im in the shop, both end roll up doors are open. Always a nice breeze. Unfortunately, that also means lots of...
I had my 30x50 pole barn done this past September. Its a floating slab. inside the barn is 5 1/2" thick. I also have a 12' shed down both 50' sides. poured 4" under both of those. No dirt work. Just minor forming, plastic barrier and rebar an chairs. No pump truck. 3000 psi mix. Was...
That's more what I am thinking. First off, its just me here so there will never be multiple users. Second, this isn't for work or streaming hd video. I like to have it just for google and websites like you mentioned to look up a part or diagram while working rather than going back in the...
Thanks for all the help so far. I will be looking in to this set up. Im sure I will have many more questions.
There are zero obstructions. its a straight open shot from the window where the current router is directly over to the barn. Nothing in between but grass.
I will start by stating I have tried to read the many other threads regarding this topic. However, I'm a complete idiot when it comes to this topic and I just end up getting more confused.
Here is what I have to work with. I know for sure that hardwiring is out of the question. I am not...
Ion Tailgater Active
One of my best purchases. It has a rechargeable battery that will last about a week before needing to be charged back up. Has a radio and blu tooth to stream from your phone. Plenty loud and sounds great. and its small enough you can move it around or take it outside if...
I do not. Building was pretty much built before I joined. I did take quite a few pictures. Didn't really make sense to do one after it was built. I could I suppose. Can pictures be posted here with out a hosting site?
