Looking for suggestions on lighting for my newly rebuilt shop after fire. I went two feet higher this time around to 14’ ceiling height. The inside is 35x39x14 with plaster ceiling and walls flat white. I’m looking to put 4 rows of four 8 footers for a total of 16 fixtures. I have no clue what...
I want to run CAT6 from my house to detached new garage while walls are open. it will be about 100’ run with 70’ in underground conduit already installed. I have no clue what I should use or where to purchase it. I’m just installing it for possible future use while walls are open. I’m also...
So I’ve decided on passing on the foam. I’m going to have blown in cellulose for the ceiling and fiberglass for walls. I’m thinking paper faced for the walls versus poly covered bare batts. Is paper faced just as good as poly covered? Same price for either.

18’x10 and 6x9. I paid $6,936 eight yrs ago and was quoted $14,622 today for exact replacements. Lumber from same yard was up 32% and same framing crew up 28%.
One year ago my 36x40 garage burnt to the ground from a lithium battery but that’s not what I’m steaming about. I’m in the process of rebuilding and the frame is up, roofers coming in four days. I’ve got a two week wait for 4 windows and besides two garage doors it’ll be weather tight. Now the...
I don’t want to put the name of tool until it’s proven to be cause. But I will say it was a very cheap Chinese mini chainsaw. Figured if it worked for my brush cleanup for a short while before it crapped out for what it cost I wouldn’t care. I had several of the red tools and batteries the other...
