Worked at Sam's a few years back. Any price ending in a 1 is below the stores cost.
I saw this and passed. I usually like Keter items, this one just looked cheap. They had a cantilever tool box that looked nice for around $30 with lots of compartments, I just have no use.
You have me beat by 30" :shocking:
Click types don't seem too crazy at these high torques, but I'm just thinking about this being a dial... If I were checking run off torque with limits between say 6-900 ft lbs, I don't know how I would read the dial at that moment if I were by myself. It's...
This one is 51" long with both extension bars attached.
You guys have some crazy numbers though. I've got to try and find something I can torque with this thing... I can't think of anything I have easy access to that would be able to withstand anything close to the upper range. I mean, the tiny...
What do you work on? I'm a helicopter powerplants mech, and the biggest one we use is a Snap On 120-600 ft lbs, and really that's only for attaching rotor blades... can't really think of anything else a 50-250 doesn't work for.
Besides the guys at work, I thought you all might appreciate this. Saw it on CL and couldn't resist. Who doesn't need a ridiculously large torque wrench?
Utica 1000 ft lb dial torque wrench. 1" drive. From what I've read, it's made by Apex here in the land of the free
Pictures of course:
Lots of leverage... comes with 2 huge extension handles. Pretty sure he bought it off this guy, so here's pictures.

I think this is just gonna be an agree to disagree thing. We're all reading the same thing, but half of us are interpreting it one way, half the other. Nobody wants to see where the others are coming from.
They should just be more clear with their policy.
I got it based off the feedback in this thread. Been using it for a little bit with no problems. I think I got it for like 12 bucks after sale and 25% coupon. Definitely no complaints for that price.
The way I read the fine print is you can only get one free tarp per customer per day or light or whatever. Doesn't say anywhere you can only use 1 free item coupon per day, just one of each.
Either way, I didn't give them a hard time or anything, just asked the question. I get attitude anytime...
