I thought you guys might like to see a new video I just posted on my near 100 year old Eisemann magneto coil tester. It's a pretty amazing piece of technology that still works!

After a couple applications of paint remover and cleaning. I was finally able to see that it is a 1.5 ton, 716 series jack. The wonderful catalog linked above shows a very similar 717 series jack. So I assume this is an earlier version.

I picked up this little gem yesterday. It works, but needs a little TLC. I got the tag partially cleaned to reveal its a Walker Lift-A-Car rated at 1-1/2 tons. I don't know its age, but it may go well with my 1931 Ford model A pickup. Does anyone else have one or know anything about it? I also...

You are making great progress. Will you repaint in the original color? I doubt this had any chrome. That didn't come into regulay automotive use until the early 1930s. Not likely used on a utilitarian tool like this.

I've had this Enco RF30 for about 23 years. It continues to serve me well. I've made hundreds of things on it and use it regularly.
