I need to build a bench beneath some cabinets. Because the bottom of the cabinets are too low to work under, I need to have the bench not only fold up but also pull out at least 18 inches. I'm thinking either heavy duty drawer slides or table extension hardware. My only concern is side to side...

I found this site because I was looking to buy another vise after this happened today. I know the rule is that if you break a vise it's most likely your fault, but I wasn't hammering on it or using a cheater. I was attempting to clamp something cylindrical and probably got it off-center too...
