I don't consider my maxjax unsafe at all. I've been under it every weekend almost since I got it mounted 3 or so months ago. They had a qc issue and seem to be addressing it. I'd assume that any ones shipped since they discovered the issue no longer suffer from the problem.

Well I looked up my order and I guess I took delivery last June so I'm in the clear (time flies...). I checked anyway and I have continuous welds everywhere. Whew...
