    Tools for Brake Line Replacement

I'm looking at replacing brake lines on my 2nd car in a few months; what tools do I need exactly? I was thinking either Eastwood or a traditional flaring tool. The Eastwood looks super simple, but pricey compared to a more traditional flaring tool. Opinions? A set of flare nut wrenches; was...

    Favorite T-Handle Speed Bar

I'm contemplating adding a T-Handle Speed bar to my tools; I'm looking at two sets; Sunex and Astro. Both look almost identical except for the milling on the sleeve. I'm leaning towards the Sunex on account I don't think the 1/2 and 1/4 "screwdriver" would get much if any use. Anyone use these...

    Sunex 3/8 Impact Sockets

After reviewing the feedback and some careful deliberation, I choose the Sunex 3351 set; All metric that doesn't skip any sizes. Thanks to everyone that contributed to my thread... I was at my friend's dad's house a ways back; he was helping me do some work on the van. We were trying to remove...

    Sunex 3/8 Impact Sockets

If I bought the 3351, would I still need the 3342 since that's both Metric and SAE? Wouldn't I just need a pure SAE set?

    Compound Miter Saw Suggestions

I have the 12" Bosch Glide and love it! But it may be more than you're looking for...but the space it saves against the wall is a nice plus. An option you may want to consider is a Rage mitre saw; can be used to cuts all sorts of materials. I'm hoping to add one to my "dream shop" some day...

    Sunex 3/8 Impact Sockets

I'm looking for more advice from the forum experts regarding impact socket recommendations. I'm looking to acquire a Sunex 3/8 Impact Socket set; not sure what one I should get. It will be used exclusively for automotive (car, truck, ATV, Motorcycle etc.). From my last impact socket thread...

    Crowfoot Wrench Recommendations

Here in Canada, you never get the the crazy deals you get down there. $15 for a snap-on set is madness. You're a big fan of the SK stuff? Would you consider it a step up over GW and Sunex?

    Crowfoot Wrench Recommendations

I was looking at a set of Flare Nut Wrenches by Gear Wrench...would that be considered a cheapo set? Keep in mind, I'm a weekend warrior at best.

    MAG lites

Maglites can't be beat (LED version that is)... You can always upgrade the old Mag's to either LED or do a Roar of the Pelican mod... http://edcfeatures.blogspot.ca/2007/01/do-it-yourself-roar-of-pelican-rop.html

Would you be able to use that jack on a car? Or is that intended for trucks?

    Potential Trusty Cook Order

I really don't need this right now...well, my bank account doesn't need this right now. I've never heard of Trusty Cook; but I think I need at least one. I'm not one to judge someone else's tool needs, but that is a lot of hammers.
