Love the idea. I am preparing to build a welding table with a similar system and I have saved your pics as inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

    Bypass safety switch

This is what I use my keypad for. Single push to close. Of course that doesn't always keep Baxter (see my avitar) from wagging his tail over the sensor and reopening the door one in a while. Still better than a squished dog or kid.

best 12" sliding bevel miter saw

Love my dewalt and stand. Easy to load with ramps into the truck and cuts great. Had it for 8 years or so and it still cuts like new.

Anyone use the Harbor Freight Motorcycle Lift table?

I have had mine for a couple of years now (think I got it for $299) and it works great. As said above, the tire clamp is not great, but strapping the bike takes care of any instability. I use it to work on my BMW R1200GSA and it handles it no problem. The foot pump lifts the bike plenty quick...

Does anyone know the height of the HF 44" box without casters?

This is true. I had assumed you would be building it in so needed the tallest measurement.

Does anyone know the height of the HF 44" box without casters?

Just measured mine and it is 33 and 11/16" without the casters. I have the original version so can't say if the new deeper version is a different hight.

    Did you OSB?

In my shop/garage put it up over a year ago with no regrets. Did prime and paint and it is holding up well. Makes it easy to hang things as well. In my small welding shop, I used 4X8 to 4' high Hardie siding so it would be firesafe. OSB painted and primed with the seams sealed with caulking...

    Welder

What type of welder? Arc, Mig? Price range? You will get many opinions, but I love my Millermatic 211 for mig and tig. Easy to use and great welds. Also works on 120 and 240.
