Are the one-man brake bleeders worth the money for occasional maintenance? Some with pressure tanks run into the $200-$300 range. I'm just looking for something cheap so I don't have to scream at the wife when she lets off the pedal too soon.
If it's just for the tires, follow above advice and get a breaker bar, torque wrench and speed wrench. You'd be surprised how may wheels get damaged by impact wrenches. Besides, impacts beat the hell out of your lug nuts.
Lacing cord might work as long as it doesn't contact the exhaust pipe. It's used to make those nice tight wire bundles on aircraft. They make it in different colors as well.
Any recommendations on a timing light? I'm looking for a decent one that I can dial in some advance. Would also like to know if there are some that are just junk.
