I have a Craftsman opener.....for about 25 years. Replaced the nylon gears after 18 years of operation. I believe it was lack of maintenance on my part ( lube on the gears ). The parts were inexpensive & readily available. Took about ten minutes to change out.

I am in a rural area where NG is not available, I have a propane furnace & electric H/W tank, which is $ to operate, hence my reason to go propane H/W tank.

I currently have a natural gas fired hot water heater & need to convert it for use with propane. I have ordered the conversion kit from the manufacturer....anyone done this ? Any problems encountered ? :3gears:
