Wilton Vise 11.5 inch jaw opening - Value Question -

For the vast majority of my life, I've been poor. Using the wrong tool for the job being commonplace. So I nabbed a small Prentiss some time ago for $12. I posted a thread on it, no one was interested in it. Not unreasonably since it had a huge crack in the slide... So I have kept it. I brazed...

Wilton Vise 11.5 inch jaw opening - Value Question -

Well I checked in with the owner/seller of that vise this weekend; Lowest he's willing to go on it is $400. I have a lot of learning to do and cannot say what the vise is worth. $400 seems high to me, but maybe I'm just a cheap *******.

Wilton Vise 11.5 inch jaw opening - Value Question -

Several people asked the same question, Drivesitfar, etc. I'm quoting those who asked, but if I left anyone out, it's not personal. I measured the opening myself; It opened comfortably to 11.5. Past that and it was overextending, once it got past 12 inches, I was feeling like I was going to go...

Wilton Vise 11.5 inch jaw opening - Value Question -

A local fella has this Wilton vise up for sale. But there're questions about what the base value is. We all know how that goes... Buyer wants to pay least possible and seller wants most for it possible. Short of it is, what do you guys think?

    Plomb 5449 Repair/Rebuild kit

This threw me for a loop for a moment, as I didn't remember making a classifieds For Sale Thread on it and couldn't find one. Had to tie down a Google Spider and make it tell me all it knew. However, I also learned that I did not receive the 5449RK this first time around. I ordered a proper...

GOOD GOD! Why are Proto Tools THAT Exspensive?

I posted earlier that a lot of digging is needed; that it's not so easy as point and click. I've got this catch-22 where I need to post some kind of link or I get told I'm not supporting my arguments but if I post what is readily available, it's simply not enough or inaccurate. So let me ask...

GOOD GOD! Why are Proto Tools THAT Exspensive?

neverfly=mrdeathmachine Sigh... Even a most rudimentary check would show I'm not that person nor related in any way. The only Trolls here are the ones contributing no intelligence, lots of brainless comments and tagging the thread like teenagers with too much time on their hands.

GOOD GOD! Why are Proto Tools THAT Exspensive?

Fcvapor05, the short of the above is that the financials show that Snap On (SNA) is on par with everyone else, correct? Yet the trend from 1996 to present is that SNA mostly held the lionshare in profits yet had the smallest customer base...

GOOD GOD! Why are Proto Tools THAT Exspensive?

And the trolls continue... Nothing I said in that quote implied I was the only smart one. The opposite, in fact, where I point out that the readers are intelligent and can see that BigBlueGOldie is utterly full of it. Fcvapor05, you wrote a lot of material and I'm cutting it down to the most...

GOOD GOD! Why are Proto Tools THAT Exspensive?

Must be you. Especially considering that you claim I'm hosting an argument with anyone who posts, when in fact, I'm being trolled a great deal of the time. Now, YOU were one of those people talking about honesty in that other thread, right? Show some instead of painting illusions. You seem to...

Intelligent readers can decide for themselves. Here; it's after 1am. Enough of this circus for tonight....

GOOD GOD! Why are Proto Tools THAT Exspensive?

I quote: Honesty... Isn't something you guys believe in, is it? You two prefer to present an illusion and keep pressing it hoping that if you keep up the lie, it will stick. Sadly for you, unlike in verbal debate, the forum has a record of what is said.
